Fovero Winter ‘22

Art Director, Fovero winter project is centered around future-making and aims to disrupt and dismantle social and gender stereotypes. The project utilizes familiar Palestinian locations and streets in Ramallah to challenge traditional notions and promote a more inclusive and progressive society. The project is characterized by its innovative and creative approach to breaking down barriers and promoting positive change.

I have incorporated contrasting colors into my work to create a visually striking effect that draws the viewer's attention and adds an element of surprise to the "out of context" theme. By using contrasting colors, I aim to keep the viewer’s eye engaged and interested in the photo, making it more impactful and memorable.

Each model was given their own unique theme to embody. Yara channeled a 1960s style, while Ameer blended blonde and Bedouin looks, and Omar embodied a Gen Z aesthetic. By incorporating distinct styles and attitudes into each design, I created a cohesive yet diverse set of images that are visually compelling and engaging. The distinct state of mind of each model adds an extra layer of depth and interest to the project, making the images all the more captivating to view.
