Fovero Summer ‘21

Fovero is a Palestinian streetwear brand established in 2019, with a mission to produce Palestinian garments under the limitations imposed by military occupation. Fovero delivers pieces of Palestine to the world.

In the first shot, the model holds a microphone on top of a roof, exemplifying intersectional resistance in the ‘voice’.

The following shot is dreamy, imagining a material return and freedom, showcasing movement with the Palestinian passport, a suitcase, and the airlines hoodie.

The third shot posits a physical change, embracing a world without 1948/67. Time and land are visible themes here, representing freedom on both in/tangible levels.

In the fourth shot, the ability ‘to be’ is emphasized. Freedom of self.

The following shot ties in women’s empowerment and the freedom of choice, as the model, works in spaces considered for men ‘breaking all gender norms and roles’.

The final scene brings together the collective imaginings of a Palestinian future from the Palestinian streets or ‘PALESTINIAN UNITY’.
